Project: Social care provider failure guidance

The LGiU, with ADASS and the Department of Health, worked with practitioners, providers, members of the financial services industry and service user representatives to design  guidance and a toolkit to help councils develop contingency plans that can be rapidly put in place to safeguard and ensure high quality care to some of the most vulnerable members of society who’ve just been made more vulnerable by service failure.

The guide was published on 20 October 2015.
