Member Services FAQ

Not sure if your organisation is a member of LGiU?

You can check if your organisation is a member of LGiU here.

Has Daily News or your other email bulletins stopped arriving?

Check that your council is still a member of LGiU. Subscribers at councils who resign from membership will stop receiving our email bulletins.

Check your spam or junk folder in your inbox for Daily News. If it’s there, mark it as ‘not spam’ or ‘not junk mail’. It will move into your inbox and you should start to receive it again.

If you can, check your spam filter settings to make sure ‘lgiu.org.uk’ or ‘correspondence@lgiu.org.uk’ aren’t blocked.

Add our email address – correspondence@lgiu.org.uk – to your ‘safe senders’ list, contact list or address book.

If you’ve tried these steps and you’re still not getting our bulletins, please get in touch with your IT department:

Information for IT departments

If subscribers have tried all the above steps, please check that lgiu.org.uk is on your corporate ‘safe senders’ list or whitelist.

If possible, please whitelist our IP address ranges. We use MailChimp to send our email bulletins – find the IP address ranges here.

Does Daily News look wrong on your device?

Check your email settings. Some email clients will have an ‘autofit emails to display’ function. If you uncheck this on your email settings, Daily News will display properly in your inbox.

Some email clients will not display Daily News properly. You can click ‘view this email in your browser’ on any email to view a better-rendered versio of Daily News.
