Civil Society Innovation Network – session 4
In this final meeting of the Network wanted to look beyond the immediate term, to consider the long term challenges that local government will face.
In particular, the Network discussed with Andrew Stunell MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, what the current and future context will mean for the future of councils, service delivery, capacity building and how this will have an impact on the relationship between the citizen with the state.
We heard presentations from LGiU, Cornwall Council and Cheshire West and Chester – all available below. These give a flavour of practice locally in shaping services around citizens in addition to progressing localism.
