Only 5% of the population blames their local authority for cuts

Over on the Guardian’s Local Government Network, Alex Aiken has just published his top 10 tips for how to run a successful communication strategy in local government.

One thing he says is that councils “need to understand how their reputation really stands in their community”.

This reminded me of the graph (below) produced by Ben Page of Ipsos Mori for a speech he delivered last month at LGiU’s Localism and Austerity conference.

I think these are quite useful stats to be aware of.
